1:1 COACHING
You’ve been holding it all together for so long.
This is your invitation to stop doing it alone.
When you work 1:1 with me, you begin to remember...
You are trustworthy—especially in the in-between, even when the path is unclear.
You don’t have to work harder for peace.
Rooted confidence doesn’t come from credentials or praise. It comes from getting to know yourself.
The parts of you that got sidelined—the playful, the relaxed, the adventurous, the eccentric—deserve to be cherished.
Rest and play are essential.
Life becomes sensuous again when you attune to pleasure: the cool side of the pillow, the scent of figs at the market, the hush before dusk.
You know who you are and what you need. You stop second-guessing, or getting mad at others when you need to set boundaries.
This is the heart of the Second Bite.
Hi, I’m Brooke Hofsess.
I offer coaching and practical magic for women in midlife who are realizing they can’t keep living at odds with themselves.
I’m here to help you care for yourself in the way you care for the collective.
My clients take inspiring second bites:
They write and publish books that have lived in their hearts for years.
They say yes to artist residencies, launch podcasts, choreograph performances, and tend soulful side projects.
They navigate big career pivots—like moving into executive leadership, returning to school, or finally leaving a role that’s drained them for years.
They build these soul-aligned new things—even while holding demanding jobs and caregiving roles.
And underneath it all? They feel more alive, more relaxed, and more like themselves than they’ve felt in a long time.
I offer free, no pressure calls to help you decide if coaching is for you.
Because midlife isn’t about keeping up—it’s about catching your breath.
Because the future arrives in glimpses, in metaphors, in whispers and callings.
Because you’ve spent years building a life. Now it’s time to listen to it.
Live a life that’s fully yours.
The Heartfelt Logistics: Everything you need to know about sessions, support, and investment.
Every 1:1 partnership begins with a free Next Step Call to see if we’re a good fit.
It’s a spacious, no-pressure conversation where we listen for what’s stirring—and whether working together feels right for this season of your life.
You can read more about that process here.
If we decide to move forward, we will work together for a gestation period of 3 months so you can fully settle into the container of support. From there, coaching happens month-to-month.
Each month includes:
• Two 60-minute 1:1 coaching sessions via Zoom
• Check-ins and support between sessions
• Access to a private virtual studio with my favorite practices, resources, and reflections
The investment is $555/month.
I trust you to know what’s emerging, and I trust us to co-create a rhythm of care that supports you best.
After the gestation period (3 months of coaching), some clients work closely with me for a few more months. Others stay for a year or more, as the work deepens and ripens.

That’s okay—and expected! Our work together will help you uncover and clarify what’s next, even if the pathway isn’t clear right now.

Many of my clients bring coaching into their life in addition to working with a trusted therapist. For me, it is less about what we talk about in coaching versus therapy, but HOW we will talk about it. My intention is to relate to you as whole and complete, and guide you toward the fullest expression of yourself.

I bring 20 years of experience of creating supportive, transformative spaces for women. My background includes a Master’s from Columbia University, a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, and a successful career as a tenured professor and academic leader. I’ve published two books reimagining mentorship as a creative and relational process. I also bring deep, intentional study in intersectional feminisms, coaching, somatics, and women’s leadership to help clients go beyond cognitive solutions and connect with their own wisdom, creativity, and agency.
